Furlough 2012

It has been three years since our last visit to the States and we are looking forward to seeing many of you.  We plan on visiting all of our supporting churches and renew our contact with them as well as give a report on what the Lord has been doing through our ministry here in Lille, France.  Also, we pray that the Lord will open new doors in others churches as well.

We would like to challenge young people to serve the Lord as missionaries.  We pray the Lord to send many new labourers into His field of France.  If you could have us to visit your church, Sunday school, youth meeting, Bible College or any other opportunity to share, please let us know and we will try to arrange a date for you.

Also, many of our Facebook friends, we have not seen in many years and if we can simple come by and see you, this would be a blessing to us and we hope for you.

These last 2 years, we have participated in what we call the “Apollos program”. This is a one year program that offers 12 hours of Bible training per week and the team then spends many of the week ends, visiting churches in France and participating in evangelization. (About 20 different churches during the school year) We have had some Americans, this has given them the chance to learn French and discover France.  We will be presenting this as we visit churches.

In the future, we would like to offer another possibility to any American young person that has finished their Bible training and has France at heart, to have them come and study French in a local university here in Lille.  We will have them participate in the ministry here.  We have the possibility to offer housings in our building and we would assist them in discovering the French culture.  We want to help new missionaries begin their ministry in France.

If you would like to have us to include you in our plans for our next furlough, please let us know.
